Our marks, criterion by criterion
Price per GB
4.5A short, aggressive grid on large plans: in France, 15 GB over 30 days for €10.99 and 90 GB for €29.99. The small 7-day plan (€3.99) is less competitive per GB.
Coverage
4.5193 countries and 7 zones in the esimrat catalogue, up to 5G, with two networks per country advertised by the brand.
App
4.1Everything goes through the GoMoWorld app (iOS and Android), rated 4.7 on both stores according to their site. Reviewers find it handy for setup, with some reconnection failures reported.
Support
3.5European team reachable by email (support@gomoworld.com) and social media, with no live chat advertised. Several reviewers describe repeated exchanges before a fix.
Transparency
3.6Euro prices and promo volumes are shown clearly. But the terms grant no refund except for an unresolved GoMoWorld error, and the partner link lands on the destinations list rather than the chosen country.
Flexibility
3.3Four sizes per country, over 7 or 30 days only. No unlimited outside the 500 GB fair-use plans in five European countries, no calls or texts.
Technical note
An overview of GoMoWorld's performance across 6 criteria
How we score
This score is eSIMrat's own, not an average of customer reviews. It covers six criteria we assess ourselves from the catalogue's real coverage, the prices we record, and test purchases and installs. We earn a commission on sales made through our links: it changes neither the score nor the order of our rankings, which stay sorted by price per GB.
The eSIMrat verdict
GoMoWorld is the travel eSIM of eircom, Ireland's incumbent operator, and it shows in the prices of large plans: 15 GB for €10.99 and 90 GB for €29.99 in France, in euros, no conversion. Tethering is allowed and the app does everything, from purchase to install. The grid is short (7 or 30 days, four sizes), support runs by email and social media without chat, and the terms rule out any refund unless the error is theirs. A good pick for a month-long stay with lots of data, less so for a weekend or if you want instant support.
Good for
- Month-long stays with lots of data (15 to 90 GB)
- Travellers who want to pay in euros without conversion
- Remote work and tethering in Europe
Less suited if
- You are leaving for two or three days (→ Roamify, plans from 1 day)
- You want human support 24/7, an eSIM that is simple to install with an easy app, and excellent value for money (→ voilà eSIM)
- You want unlimited data outside Europe (→ Holafly)
- You want a refund if you do not use the eSIM (→ Yesim)
Pros and cons
Pros
- An incumbent operator behind the brand (eircom, Ireland), not a mere reseller
- Large plans very well priced: 90 GB over 30 days for €29.99 in France
- Prices in euros, dollars and seven other currencies, no conversion
- Tethering allowed, up to 5G, two networks per country
- Top-up from the app, usage alerts
Cons
- No refund under the terms, except for an unresolved GoMoWorld error
- Support by email and social media only, no live chat
- Durations limited to 7 or 30 days, four sizes per country
- Trustpilot score of 3.8 out of 5, with reviews about failed connections

How to install your eSIM with GoMoWorld
Buy your plan
Download the GoMoWorld app (iOS or Android): purchase, install and top-up all go through it. Prices show in euros.
Pick your destination
Choose your destination and your data plan.
Scan the QR code
Pay and scan the QR code to install the eSIM.
Get connected
Turn the connection on when you land. That's it.
If something goes wrong
Check that your phone is eSIM-compatible and unlocked, and stay on Wi-Fi during the install in the GoMoWorld app. If it fails, write to support@gomoworld.com or reach the brand on social media: there is no live chat.
Turn Airplane mode on and off again. Check that the eSIM from GoMoWorld is selected for mobile data in your settings. Turn data roaming on. Restart the phone. If nothing changes, switch network selection to manual and pick another operator.
Look at per-app usage in your phone's settings to spot the hungry apps. Turn off automatic updates and high-resolution video playback. Your remaining data shows in your GoMoWorld account, or in its app when there is one.
GoMoWorld installs the eSIM straight from the app, no QR code to scan. If the profile does not show after purchase, write to support@gomoworld.com with your order email.
What users say
Reviews synthesised from the App Store, Google Play and online feedback. We do not republish reviews word for word: we summarise the trend.
- ★★★★★Trustpilot
Straightforward setup and prices judged competitive against rival apps.
- ★★★★★Trustpilot
Reliable 4G throughout a trip to Japan, handy install app. 5G took a few settings tweaks.
- ★☆☆☆☆Trustpilot
eSIM stayed without network in China, several exchanges with support before getting the right steps.
- ★★☆☆☆Trustpilot
Very low throughput in Istanbul, barely 400 MB used over four days on a 2.5 GB plan, messaging a struggle.
